Article Marketing: Unique Articles Only

November 2nd, 2009

One of the big trends in web marketing is the creation and submitting of written pieces. Intended to provide a venue for establishing links back to a web site or sites, this method is very effective when done correctly.

It isn’t your cash, but your time, that you will have to spend authoring your articles and then getting them into the big pool of e-zine lists and article directories out there. Yes, it is a big task but it doesn’t have to be if you acquire an article marketing submission tool and put it to work. And these are very available through the Internet, and you can get some of them without spending a dime.

When you start writing, keep in mind that you not only want an interesting and quality article, but you want to include key words and phrases that will indicate to your reader the market area you occupy. You should also figure in any strategies you have learned regarding search engine optimization. Finally, you want to make sure that your article is rich in the sort of information that will impress other authors that here is a resource too good to pass over. When you are satisfied with the article, load it into your article marketing submission software, and press “Submit”.

The Problem: When you send the same exact content to every article directory, you are promulgating hundreds, perhaps thousands of duplicate documents. Which is fine, until the major search engines process through them and begin to generate back links. They are engineered to detect duplications and to not create links beyond the first occurance of a particular packet of text. So you will likely end up with just one back link for your article and very frustrated.

Is there a solution for this? Yes, although it may not be the most attractive of solutions. Keep up the submissions but submit only one time for each unique article you write. This eliminates the duplication, and assures that you will get your back link for the article. It will take a long time, but eventually, if you submit at least one unique article per week, you will end up with a ton of back links to your website.

Now the enthusiasm kicks in! You can hardly wait to sit down to the computer keyboard and develop those articles that are going to bring the paying customers through your online site. Well, we hate to dampen your enthusiasm, but don’t expect to see that increase of traffic immediately or very soon. Perhaps you are not new to this approach, and in fact have had some great success with it in the past. But then the traffic levelled off, and then began to recede. The playing rules of Internet usage are in constant flux, so don’t be too surprised if something that worked a couple of years ago, doesn’t work today. And that most certainly includes such things as traffic-attraction schemes.

If you want to explode your traffic and really start moving up in Google then you need article submission on your site. Click the link to see an extrodinary tool.

SEO Optimization Tips And Strategies

October 25th, 2009

What is SEO? Search engine optimization is an ensemble of operations that affect a website’s structure or design by using different keywords or phrases, in order for that website to be found more easily by people who use search engines. As more a website is optimized for search engines, as higher are the changes for your website to be found by Internet users. Practically, by optimizing a website, the number of visitors will increase. Nowadays the term covers a greater range of activities necessary to promote a website. Understanding these strategies is the key to a successful SEO optimization campaign.

One of the first things you have to know is the difference between search engines and directories. Crawler-based search engines depend on automated software agents called spiders. These spiders acquire information such as page title, Meta data, or text content, to be inserted into the index or database of a search engine. The, the search engine determines the relevance of data by applying some rules known as algorithms. Google is an example of this type of search engine.

Other types of search engines include a web directory. The main differential factor here is the human element. Directories are organized by human editors who visit the website submitted. They play an important role in the inclusion of a category of the website, but also in classifying the titles and descriptions. Yahoo and MSN search engines are known as hybrid search engines.

Search engines check the tags included in title, the titles and the first two paragraphs to see if they match your keywords. Keywords are the cornerstone of every SEO campaign. It’s important to maintain a proper frequency of keywords. This frequency varies from site to site depending on many external factors.

When we talk about SEO, we must consider 7 steps: website analysis, overall analysis, link building, identifying keywords, website submission in search engines and web directories and page optimization. SEO optimized links can be obtained by registration in online catalogs and directories, link exchange, e-Marketing and viral marketing, innovative ideas and quality content, buying links, using back links.

SEO generates more sales for most companies than any other method of advertising.

Ten Top SEO Tips

1. Make sure search engines can find your website by putting your chosen keywords into the title of your website. These tags are found at the top of the website between the head tags. The chances of getting targeted traffic to your site greatly increase with this step.

Treat the title like a headline. Try to draw attention to your site with a good headline because this is what people will see in the search results.

2. Use the same keywords as the anchor text to link one page from your website to another. This is more useful if you have a large website, and the more links you can get the better.

3. Your title text should appear at least once in the content of your website. This ensures search engines know that the body of the website is relevant to the content.

Also when writing the body of your website, use your keywords once or twice. You can bold them to make them stand out or highlight them. Use them in some of the subheadings too.

4. Do not use the exact same title tag on every page on your website. Search engine robots might determine that all your pages are the same if all your title tags are the same. If this happens, your pages might not get indexed.

5. Meta tags are no longer as important as they used to be. Don’t stick a load of meaningless keywords in here, two or three targeted keywords should be fine.

6. Don’t link to link farms. Search engines usually know where these are and do not like them!!

7. Do not use doorway pages. Doorway pages are designed for robots only, not humans. Search engines like to index human friendly pages which contain content which is relevant to the search.

8. Include a Contact Page and Terms of Use page on your website. You can usually get a template by searching on Google. Search engine robots look for these and it makes your site look more professional.

9. Using the alt tag for every image, ensure there is a description for each image. This helps search engine robots index your page.

10. Submit your website manually to search engines. If you use a submission service or software your website might get banned.

Use this website traffic generator to get LOADS of targeted web traffic. It’s the best traffic generator on the net. Using it consistently WILL get you to the top of Google!

Create Your Very Own Website Traffic Generating Machine

September 16th, 2009

It seems like everyone is marketing something on the internet these days. I find over 24 million indexed websites relevant to covered calls in Google when I search my website’s keyword phrase “Covered Call System”. How am I supposed to compete with that kind of volume?

My website is relatively new, only three months old. I have already achieved near top rankings in Google for certain targeted keywords, including the one listed above. That has certainly helped to bring tons targeted traffic to my site. How did I do this in under three months?

I’m not going to let you in on all my search engine optimization secrets, but I will give you a short explanation of some of them. We will first focus on organic search engine hits since we know that is a great source of free traffic, then we will look at a powerful marketing program.

The first step is to make sure your website is optimized for your relevant keywords. I use the free webmaster tool from Google to find my relevant keywords. Be sure to keep your keyword density under 6 percent. Your website will be penalized if you stuff keywords in your web copy.

Submit your website to various search engines. If you follow the instructions in this article, the major search engines should find your website automatically. However, most hosing companies will submit your site to numerous search engines for free. Your website should get listed quickly among many of the smaller search engines. Be sure to use this service.

Next, create a site map and submit it to Google. This will help Google index all your website’s pages. This can be done right in Google’s webmaster tools. I created my sitemap for free at xlm-sitemaps.com.

Next, create a press release and submit it to free sites such as PR-GP.com. This will get the word out about your website and will also provide you with a backlink back to your website. Distribute your press release to as many free sites as you can. You can view my press release at rebuildingmyfuture.com/pressrelease.html.

Submit your website to as many free directories as you can find. In addition to press releases, you create a backlink back to your website every time your site gets listed in a directory. This will help drive targeted traffic to your website. Google relies heavily on backlinks. The more backlinks you have pointing to your site, the higher the relevance Google will place on your site when it ranks it. As a result, this will drive relevant, targeted traffic to your website through the search engine.

Once you obtain that high ranking, you need to maintain it. Update your website’s content regularly. Google does not like stale content. A website that has fresh, relevant content, and lots of it will maintain a high ranking. Don’t just put the website out there and leave it unattended.

The bottom line is that you need to get your website in front of as many people as possible. The most powerful component I use is a free marketing website that will literally grow your website traffic exponentially. This service takes care of the hard part, which is getting people to your website. Once they are there I can confidently rely on my website copy to make the sale. It is the combination of all the methods mentioned that has made my website so successful.

Are you ready to get started? Take a deep breath because you are about to generate all the free traffic you can handle.
