Improve Your Search Engine Rankings with a Link Wheel

One way to help boost your results in the search engines for a specific keyword is to build a link wheel around the webpage you want to give a boost. You do this by writing six articles that you can position on social media and other websites and link back to your page and one of the other six articles inside of each of them.

When you are building your link wheel, you will have an article or webpage at the center of the wheel that is the target of your link building efforts. This is the page you want to rank well in the search engines. Now imagine there are six spokes coming out from the center article. These spokes each have another article at the end of them. Each of these articles links back to the center article and also to the next article along the outside of the wheel.

You can draw a diagram to represent the wheel if it helps you understand which articles link where. The main article should be placed in the center of your page, with six spokes radiating out from it. At the end of each spoke, write the name of the article you will be targeting in your link wheel. Now connect each of the outside articles to the one next to it by drawing a line. To make the picture clearer, make the spokes into arrows pointing toward the center and the outside lines into arrows that move all the way around the circle. These arrows show which articles link to what.

Next, you need to know what pages to put the links on. You can use pages on a number of different sites to make your wheel. Any service that allows you to publish a webpage or article containing at least two links will work. Some examples include Squidoo, Hubpages, Blogger and Ezine Articles. Just pick six of these types of sites to use to build your link wheel.

The content of each page does not have to be completely unique. The center webpage or article should be unique, but the outside pages can all be rewrites of the same article. The purpose of these articles is to create backlinks, not to impress human traffic, so making the content unique is not important.

You do need to make sure you use the keyword you want to target as the link text, though. This is very important. You are trying to get your page to rank higher in the search engines for a certain keyword phrase. Using that phrase as the link text will help you to rank better for that keyword.

The link wheel described above is really just a start. You can use more than six articles, or make multiple wheels for a single webpage. You can even make more wheels around the articles the used on the outside of your original wheel, so that you have a wheel inside of a wheel. But whatever you do, do it slowly so you don’t get penalized by the search engines for getting too many backlinks too quickly.

QuickBooks Online Basic Compared to QuickBooks Online Plus

QuickBooks Online has three levels of online accounting choices: Free, Basic, and Plus. Before making your decision to use QuickBooks Online, you have to decide between QuickBooks Online Basic and QuickBooks Online Plus. This article will analyze the differences between the two QuickBooks Online choices. Any small business accounting solution should be chosen to match the type of business you operate. There is also a free version called QuickBooks Online Simple Start, however because of it’s limited capabilities it was not considered for this analysis. This feature is critical for further analysis of your business.In other words, you can derive information otherwise not easily available to you. It’s an important feature, that should not be be overlooked, since it adds greater reporting and after the fact analysis capabilities.

Class tracking – This is very similar to business tracking which is discussed below. This feature is only available in PLUS. Classes allow you to categorize transactions by using classes. With classes you are able to categorize each detail line on a transaction. Number of Users – BASIC provides access for you and your accountant (2 users). Whereas PLUS provides access for 3 users PLUS your accountant(4 users). Plus can be expanded to 25 users for an additional cost.

Support – BASIC includes email support provided by Intuit whereas PLUS includes callback and chat support as well as email support . Obviously, PLUS support is better, but with BASIC you can still get your questions answered.

Pricing – BASIC costs $9.99 per month as compared to PLUS which retails for $34.95 per month . However, if you purchase PLUS through a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor you can purchase it for $21, which reflects a discount 40% discount, which is currently in effect at this time. Summary – BASIC works satisfactorily for smaller companies, whereas PLUS works well for small to midsized companies.
