Keyword research is key for any affiliate marketer. Whether you are doing search engine optimization or pay per click marketing, having the right tool in your toolbox can improve your results significantly. The right keyword software will allow you to quickly come up with good keywords and improve your results in a more efficient way.

Keyword Elite has been one of the top keyword research tools on the market for ages. It allows you to easily generate huge amounts of 10,000+ keywords in a rapid fashion. The software is able to figure out what keywords are relevant to your niche and tell you how valuable they are. The software works with Google, Ask.com, Bing, Yahoo, and other search engines to grab the keyword information. To top it off, if you are a WordTracker or Keyword Discovery member, you can import your data into Keyword Elite to get more detailed results.

The product also has some cool spying abilities which allow you to monitor your competition without them knowing it. You can create projects for everyone you want to track and keep and eye on them at all times. This enables you to see how successful they are, and copy the aspects of their campaigns that make them money.

Although not the best looking software in the world, the interface is user friendly enough and allows you to import and export your keywords. The many included filters are very helpful to drill-down and find the results you are looking for. By getting rid of the irrelevant stuff, you can focus on the keywords that will make you money.

Keyword Elite is also nice for niche marketers. With the product, you can quickly assemble a lot of important data on your niche and the products people are looking for in that niche. By singling out niches with little competition, you can quickly come in and take over that niche for yourself.

Keyword Elite does have a couple of flaws. The interface could be improved, and it would be nice if it included more export formats. The software does not come cheap as it is designed for big time affiliate marketers. Even so, there is no recurring fee required to buy this software so if you really want to make some money online, Keyword Elite is a worthwhile investment.

Why Keyword Elite 2 Will Allow You To Dominate The Competition

Existing Keyword Elite owners will be happy to know that Keyword Elite 2.0 is about to be released. I’ve been using this tool for the past year now, and it is definitely an awesome software for finding keywords. It is well suited for both SEO and PPC purposes and it has always been my tool of choice. The new version of the software looks really great, and I am anxiously waiting to play with it when it is released.

I’ve done a little bit of research and here is a list of a few highlighted changes that will be included in Keyword Elite 2.0.

Brand new interface. The user interface of the program has been entirely revamped. The software now has a brand new Web 2.0 look that will make using the software much more enjoyable to use.

Adwords Site Targeter. With this new feature, you can uncover which sites are using Google Adsense in your area. This allows you to target your own ads in Google Adwords, or setup a media buy with the site owner. Targeted placements = higher conversions.

JV Diamond Miner. This feature allows you to find related sites that collect customer emails. By emailing these site owners, you may be able to setup a joint venture with them and advertise your own product on potentially lucrative areas of their site. This is one tactic that not many affiliate marketers try, but can be very successful for some.

Significant Speed Improvements. The new Keyword Elite is ten times faster than the previous version. Instead of minutes, you now get your results in seconds. If you are an old user of the software, this improvement will completely blow you away.

These are just a few of the new improvements that will be included when Keyword Elite 2.0 comes out. This doesn’t include the enhancements that I didn’t get a chance to mention so look for them as well. Understanding SEO and SEM For Marketing Success

Many individuals new to web marketing have some questions about search engine optimization and search engine marketing. Are they one in the same? How are they different? SEO and SEM have many similarities but are not the same.

Let us begin by focusing on search engine optimization also referred to as SEO and comparing SEO to search engine marketing which is referred to as SEM. Both SEO and SEM require a firm understanding of how they work and where they fit in the online marketing mix. SEO requires a strong knowledge of how search engines work and what it takes to achieve top search engine placement. Search Marketing requires a firm understanding about online advertising, keywords, and ROI.

From the outside, both internet marketing methods appear to be very complex. The truth however, is that SEO and SEM are simple to understand. Implementation of best practices is what makes success such a challenge. Search engine optimization is essentially the techniques you use to rank well on major search engines is a direct result of your understanding and application of proven techniques in the area of SEO.

Search engine marketing is based on an understanding of online ad campaigns that are implemented on advertising networks. The largest online ad network is Google followed by Yahoo! and MSN. These ad networks basically work the same way. You open an ad account, place an online ad, and when users search for terms related to your ad, the advertisement displays. When someone clicks on your ad, you pay a fee.

SEM is different than search engine optimization for one fundamental reason. With SEM, you pay when someone takes an action. Unlike traditional advertising you do not pay for your advertisement to appear, only when someone clicks on your ad. Your cost varies based on how competitive your keywords are and where you want your ad to display.

Anyone doing business online really needs to study and become and expert in both SEO and SEM.
