Article writing is one of my favorite things to do although it didn’t use to be. I found it hard at first to write about things I used to get stuck with my words. But later I found out that article writing is very powerful if you can get an article out everyday on your blog and make it interesting then you will get a lot of visitors to your blog. Linking is another important aspect of article writing because when the articles get archived in the directories this creates many back links to your website giving you higher ranks with the search engines.

Get A Blog

Blogging is anther way you can get ranked in the search engines and sometimes this happens pretty quick. Word press is the best blog platform that i have used although there are others out there like blogger which is owned by Google. If you add new content on a regular basis then you will get rewarded with high rankings for your web page. I try to post one article a day to my blog.

Join A Few Forums

Joining a forum related to what your content is on your blog is a great idea to get free traffic and back links to your website as well as all the other steps mentioned in this article. Be of help in the forum if you can answer some of the problems that people are having then you will become popular and also get some more back links to your website, I would recommend joining no more than five related forums and put one post on each forum everyday.

Develop A Linking Strategy

When you have achieved all the above its time to have a bit of patients,you need to put into place a strategy for linking back to your blog. You can link back to blogs from other webmasters who want to exchange links with yours. All you need to do is find a blog similar to yours and then write a note to the webmaster of that blog telling them that you have left a link to their site on your blog and would they be interested in leaving one of yours on their site. This works well if the site that your linking to has a good Page Rank.

What Is Information Marketing.

As I mentioned in my previous post Information is a multi-BILLION dollar industry and an incredible opportunity for you to make an additional income in or to even make this your profession. It is one of the easiest industries to “break into” AND it is based upon taking your knowledge and leveraging it. Let me explain: Information Marketing is the publishing, marketing and selling of information products. both off-line (i.e. book stores) and on-line (i.e. websites).

You know Information marketing/selling best from books that you see at book stores or perhaps the exercise systems you can purchase from the TV Infomercials. Have you ever wanted to write your own book, share your knowledge, your system, your shortcuts? You may not have thought about the marketing/selling and selling aspect of that but tha

How do we know? For the mere fact that I previously declared in my anteceding post… “last year three hundred and fifty two million individuals spent over $564 BILLION on information products. So… Do not you think there is an given chance there for you? Do not you think out of three hundred and fifty two million individuals worldwide (and with the growth of the Internet this number is sure to have already tripled) that there is a niche market out there for you? Sure there is! Go look on the Internet and see if you can find something similar. Someone is writing and putting information out there right now in your niche… why shouldn’t it be YOU?

I know what you are thinking… there is already too much information out there, or someone has already written a book on my topic… or Or OR. No excuses. Here’s the deal. There is nobody else out there like YOU with your knowledge, your experience, expertise, spin, etc. AND more importantly there are people out there that will resonate with you and your message or information but you have to give them the opportunity.

Let me take this a step further… Have you seen a book on dieting? More than one book? Oh really? In fact let’s just narrow our search to Amazong for dieting books and not even open this up to Google for worldwide returns…. On Amazon alone twhen you search dieting books you get a whopping 33,758 returns on DIETING! Yikes!

Hmmmm…. Well now isn’t that interesting? There are a ton of books on dieting and new ones coming out what seems like every day! Yet they are all different, they all have their own spin and take on “Their System” I’ll talk more about this in my next post. Even with dieting a subject that would seem to be saturated by now and isn’t is an opportunity in Information Marketing.

You see there is never enough information and people need to know what you know. The only difference between the “experts” and you is that 1) they call themselves and expert and 2) they have taken action to publish and market their information in some format.

So back to our topic here on Info Marketing… I like to make this simple when it comes to explaining what type of Info products there and there is a lot… I call them clicks and bricks. Now you posses how what Info Marketing is all about and it is HUGE! I’m looking forward to training you in this Industry and to helping you get started. Have You Checked On Your Keyword List Lately?

Keywords aren’t just any old words. If you don’t know what a keyword is, or a keyword phrase, and you’re trying to make money online, then you’d better sit back and take notes. Keywords are words that search engine users type in to a search engine to find your site. If your page is not optimized for the keywords relating to your site, then the chances of people who are interested in your goods or services finding your website is slim to none. And Slim has left town!

Knowing that keywords are so important to our online incomes, you’d think that more Internet Marketers would do a better job of checking on them to make sure they’re still making money. But this isn’t the case. A lot of people think that if they have a group of keywords that is making them money, then those keywords will always make them money. This isn’t true and it’s a prime reason you should be doing routine check ups to make sure you’re still dealing with profitable keywords and not duds.

Since most people have a limited amount of time to work on their website’s, it’s important to make the most of every minute you have. This is why successful PPC marketers are constantly checking their keyword list and doing away with words that don’t pay. You should be doing the same with your website or risk spending a lot of time and money on optimizing your website for keywords that are not paying off. Just look at the Hollywood scene for example. Do you think that there are as many searches these days for Burt Reynolds as there are for Brad Pitt? No. But if the Internet had been around in Burt’s hay-day (sorry for dating you Burt), then you would have seen huge searches for Burt instead of Brad.

But just as many keywords go of style, there are many that become popular. Some become popular overnight while others may sneak their way into the searches. This is just another example of why you need to stay on top of your keyword list. If you don’t, you’ll be leaving money on the table…for people like me to take away from you! Think of keywords as a bunch of Apples in the fridge. When some start going bad, you toss them and replace them with fresh ones whenever you go to the store. Your keyword list should be done the same way. Routinely check your list for non producing keywords, get rid of them and replace them with ones that do make you money.

Also, some niches just go away while other niches change. Wise niche marketers will be diligent in getting rid of these non profitable keywords and optimize their pages for new, more valuable keywords. Don’t waste time and energy optimizing your website for keywords that have died off and that are no longer searched for.

Now take a few minutes and look over your current list. See which ones are still making you money and which ones are dead weight. There’s no reason to keep working on optimizing your website for old, non producing keywords. While you’re at it, find those fresh keywords everyone else is searching with. This is how you’ll make more money online and find new niches to build websites around.
